Can PWR-01 series perform a short interruption test?

It depends on the short interruption test time.
In PWR-01 series, the voltage rise/fall time takes tens to hundreds of milliseconds.
If the test time is set shorter than this time via the external analog control or sequence control (the setting resolution of the sequence: min. 100 ms), the output may not reach the specified voltage. (The fall time is even longer in a no-load condition.)

For DC short interruption tests, the bipolar power supply PBZ series is recommended.
The rise/fall time can be set at its fastest, 3.5 µs, in the CV mode; it is possible for to perform the DC short interruption tests in several milliseconds.
Please read the user’s manual for more information on PBZ series.
