Does PWR-01 series have a function to turn off the output if an excess current flows during operation?

Yes, PWR-01 series has a protection function.

The overcurrent protection (OCP) can be set lower than the constant current (CC) setting to ensure that the output is turned off if an overload occurs.
The factory default setting limits the CC setting to approximately 95% of the OCP trip point to prevent incorrect settings.
To disable this limitation and allow the OCP trip point to be lower than the CC setting, follow these steps:

1) Press the CONFIG key three times.
2) Select CF22 with the VOLTAGE knob.
3) Choose OFF with the CURRENT knob.
With this setting, if the OCP trip point is reached, the output is turned off, and an ALM (alarm) is triggered.
