Mr. A had been struggling with the solution to the peak current issue.
Eventually, Mr. A learned by a former colleague of a product released from Kikusui Electronics Corp. that leads the solution.
Kikusui recommended an intelligent bipolar power supply, PBZ20-20A to him.

Mr. A learned that the PBZ20-20A is capable of delivering peak current up to 6 times that of the rated output. This contributes to cutting the cost and downsizing the installation space by reducing the paralleled units.

Mr. A also noticed that the PBZ20-20A can deliver peak current of 1200A by connecting 10 units in parallel. This helps securing necessary current to meet future demands. Mr. A was motivated to try a demo unit of the PBZ20-20A.

Kikusui offered Mr. A a demonstration model of PBZ20-20A on loan. Mr. A and his engineers evaluated the unit and confirmed the performance. PBZ regulated power supplies are used by many Japanese auto makers as well as component manufacturers because they enable testing using simulated real waveforms, increasing overall product quality.

The introduction of the PBZ20-20A dramatically changed company C’s development environment. “Number of our power supplies was reduced, which contributed to lowering risk of glitch in the test equipment. The PBZ-A drastically shortened the development period, reduced defect rates, and cut total costs”. said Mr. A.
